Third-party studies let you recruit participants from the Lyssna panel to take part in research hosted on another platform.

This Lyssna Labs feature is still in development. You can disable Lyssna Labs features at any time in Settings.

Getting started

  1. Select Lyssna Panel from the bottom of the side navigation menu.

  2. Choose Third-party study as your study type.

  3. Select the number of participants and demographic criteria.

  4. Click Create study using selections, name your study, and continue to the setup page.

Setting up your study

URL

Add the URL of the study you have created on another platform. Make sure it’s accessible to participants.

Estimated duration

Specify how long participants should expect to spend completing the study.

Track task completion

To confirm participants have completed your study and can be compensated, choose one of the following:

  • Redirect URL: if your external platform supports redirects, you can use the redirect link we provide.

  • Completion code: add the completion code to the final page of your study. Panelists will enter this code into our platform to verify completion.

Link responses to panelists

Add a question at the beginning of your study asking participants for their Panelist ID. This allows us to match each response to a participant. We’ll provide participants with their ID in advance.

Results

The results of your study will be available on the platform where it's hosted. We'll also provide demographic, device, and response information on the Lyssna results page.

It is not permitted to collect any of the following information from our panel:

  • Personally identifiable information (name or email address)

  • Login details

  • Sensitive data (Health or medical information)

  • Financial information (Credit card numbers or payment logins)
