Lyssna standard privacy agreement

We take your privacy seriously at Lyssna.

Lyssna, its employees, agents, and subcontractors will keep confidential all data and customer information including test content, imagery, and test results. Information in your account may be seen by Lyssna employees only for the purposes of providing support.

All test content is private and confidential, and will not be shared with any third parties or published in any form without prior written approval.

Your tests are not visible to other members of Lyssna except upon request in the form of ordering responses from the Lyssna panel. Ordering responses from Lyssna makes your test temporarily available to a subset of our users until the order has been fulfilled or canceled.

Lyssna panelists do not sign an NDA by default, however, they must agree to keep confidential all information and imagery viewed on Lyssna tests when signing up for our platform.

All test results are private and cannot be viewed publicly or by other Lyssna members unless actively shared by you or invited members of your account.

You can learn more about how we keep your data safe on our Security page.

For detailed information about how we keep your data secure and stay compliant with global privacy standards, visit our Trust Center.

Common questions

Who can see my test?

You choose who sees your test outside of your team.

If you order responses from Lyssna we'll show your test to the required number of panelists to fulfill the order. Our panelists agree not to copy any content from tests they take.

When recruiting participants from your own audience, your test can be seen by whoever you share the custom recruitment link with.

Can I revoke access to a test?

Yes. Active orders with the Lyssna panel can be canceled at any time (learn how here). Note that some panelists who are not able to complete the test may still have seen some or all of the content.

If you've shared your test's recruitment link with your own audience, you can disable access anytime. Learn how here.

Who can see the test results?

Your results are private in your account and only accessible to you and your team members. They can be shared using a custom link but are private by default.

Can I require participants to sign an NDA?

Custom participant agreements are available on Enterprise plans for tests and interviews. You can enable agreements in the test builder and upload a document, such as a custom NDA, which will be shown to participants to agree to before they complete their test or interview application. If the test or interview includes a screener, only qualified participants will see the participation agreement.

Can I ask Lyssna to sign an NDA?

Yes, but just as with participant NDAs, this is available only to customers on our Enteprise plans. If this is something you require, contact our Sales team for more information.
