When you create an account on Lyssna, you can create studies on our platform, but you won't be able to participate in studies as a panelist using the same account. To become a panelist and take part in paid tests, you need to sign up on our panel platform, UserCrowd.com. If you're interested in becoming a paid panelist, we'll explain your options in the sections below.

🔥 If you've signed up to be a test taker at Usercrowd.com but you actually want to create and run tests as a researcher, you won't be able to sign up at Lyssna.com with the same email address you have used for your Usercrowd account.

Sign up for our panel with a different email if you have one

If you signed up to Lyssna with your work/professional email, you can sign up to UserCrowd with your personal email, or vice versa. You'll then be able to take tests as a panelist and also create tests of your own to send out.

If your email is via Google, create a temporary alias

If your email is hosted with Google, you can create a temporary email alias by adding a "+" or "." symbol to your email address. For example, if you used your email "bostad@gmail.com" to sign up to Lyssna, you can sign up to UserCrowd with "bostad+uh@gmail.com" or "bost.ad@gmail.com". Both of these will work—you'll just need to make sure you save your login details somewhere so you don't forget them.
