What is GDPR?

The General Data Protection Regulation is a regulation in EU law that was introduced to protect the personal data and privacy of citizens of the European Union.

It contains rules about how personal information must be stored and handled responsibly, how individuals can consent to having their personal information collected, an individual's right to correct their personal information or have it removed (the right to be 'forgotten'), how organizations must respond to and report data breaches, and much more.

The GDPR came into effect on 25 May 2018.

Yes, Lyssna's privacy policy affords all users of our software (not only EU citizens) the rights stipulated by the GDPR and explains how your personal information is collected, handled, and stored responsibly and in accordance with these regulations.

Remaining GDPR compliant while using Lyssna
