Learn how to target your preferred audience when using the Lyssna panel

When ordering responses from the Lyssna panel you have the option to target panelists by setting demographic criteria. Only panelists who meet your criteria will participate in your test.

Placing a targeted order with the panel

  1. From the Recruit tab of your test, select Place an order.

  2. Enter the number of responses you would like to order, from a minimum of 5 up to a maximum of 10,000.

  3. You can search for a specific demographic by using the search bar, or you can browse each category by clicking the down arrow to see the options in each one.

  4. Click on the demographics you want to target, or you can select a previously saved demographic group to do this for you automatically. Demographics selected on the left of the order form will appear in your order summary to the right.

  5. You can remove any unwanted demographics by either selecting it again from the left so that it turns grey, or hovering over the demographic in your order summary and clicking "remove."

  6. Review your checkout summary on the right-hand side and click Submit Order.

As you select demographics, the pool of available participants may become smaller. If we are unable to fulfill the order with the selected demographics and number of participants required, you can place an order with our partner panel.

  • Annual household income (in USD)

Industry and occupation

  • Employment status

  • Team size

  • Working environment

  • Work travel

  • Industry

  • Department

  • Job role

Financial products

  • Financial products used

  • Homeownership

  • Digital banks

  • Digital trading

  • Buy now pay later products

Shopping

  • Grocery shopping frequency

  • Grocery products

Technology

  • Mobile devices

  • Installed mobile apps

  • Use of ride-sharing

  • Use of food delivery

  • Use of mobile dating apps

  • Daily hours spent online

  • Technical proficiency

Hobbies and interests

  • General hobbies & interests

  • Sports

  • Video game playing frequency

  • Video game devices and platforms

Location targeting

The Lyssna panel has participants from over 100 countries. If our internal panel doesn’t cover the volume of participants you require, we can work with our panel partners to source them. Partner panel pricing varies, so please contact us for details.

Granular location

You can target more granular locations in the following countries: United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Netherlands, Germany, and Australia. Targeting by state, region, province, or country (in the case of the UK) is currently only available for unmoderated tests, not interviews.
